Kenny Sebastian takes over Manipal
On March 30, Kenny Sebastian took center stage on a stand-up comedy show organised by Las Viegas Comedy Club (LVC) at Central Park, Manipal.
Kenny had two separate performances lined up for the evening─ one at 6:30 p.m. which began 20 minutes late and the other at 8:30 pm. Both shows were house full with an upbeat crowd. “All the tickets for the 6:30 p.m. show were sold out in 36 hours. This was incredibly overwhelming, and hence we decided to host an additional show,” said Navaneeth, from the organising committee.
The best part of the show, according to a majority of the audience, was when Kenny picked an audience member at random and created a song about him with hilarious prompts from the rest of the crowd including socks, dogs, and orange. Kenny’s sense of humour was a great hit with the Manipal audience, and it was no surprise that the crowd kept breaking out in peals of laughter. The hour-long show saw a humorous, amusing, and engaging Kenny Sebastian on the stage, never losing the attention of his audience.

“It was my first stand-up comedy show and it was really good. However, when compared to his content online, I felt that something was missing,” said Sindhuri, a student of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
The show began with a mini stand-up comedy act by Althaf Ibrahim, who won the ‘Music and Comedy Open Mic’ organised by Chords and Co. Following him was Warren Viegas, founder of LVC.
