Manipal: On Jan 20th, Spic Macay, a society for promoting Indian culture and arts among the youth organised a Carnatic music concert by Shashank, who has a Grammy nomination to his credentials .Shashank’s troupe included Avinash Venu a world renowned violin player and Saigiridhar on the Mridangam. The concert was held in the university building and was well attended by the top Univesity officials, faculty and students.
