A website giving elaborate details of the condition she was last seen in has been launched by her son, in search of her. A vivid description of her appearance and the exact time of the turn of events have been very precisely provided by him.
“She was wearing a cream white saree with baby pink blouse. She is 65-year-old and 5.5 ft tall, of fair complexion. The best way to recognize her is by looking at her toe fingers as they are not all straight. She was wearing almost 3.75 lakhs worth of gold jewellery (which is her normal daily wear). I am requesting for a public support to trace my missing mother. Please share the news in WhatsApp & social media groups.”
An FIR was also filed with the local police on June 26, and the Udupi Superintendent of Police (SP), K. Annamalai has formed a special team headed by Deputy SP Manjunatha Shetty and Sub-inspector Nasser Hussain. There is active involvement in this case, from both Annamalai and Shetty.
Her son had announced a reward of Rupees 1 lakh for any credible information about his mother, ten days ago. Requesting co-operation and public support for this search, Satish Shetty has also appealed for everyone to share this message on all kinds of social media, for faster progress in the case.
