Manipal: Blitzkrieg dance crew performed at the 20th edition of the cultural program for the celebration of Onam ‘Keli 2015’ held on October 1, 2015 at the Golden Jubilee Hall. It was organised by Kasturba Medical College’s (KMC) Malayalee Association.

Sagar  Nambiar, an organising member was pleased to see the dance crew perform. He said, “It is the first time Blitzkreig is performing for us. It is a very big thing for our show that such an amazing dance crew is here.”

Crew members were equally happy after the performance, as the response they got was good. “We got to know about the event from a crew member and it was a brilliant experience. The programme was very diverse when it comes to performances,” said Vyshnav Kumar, 4th year student, MIT and a member of the dance crew.

The audience also witnessed Dr. Gopika  Menon, Pranav  Rajashekhar and Govind  Srinivas perform together for the first time ever as ‘Goonj’, the first musical album of KMC. These two performances were the highlight of the event which helped attract a huge crowd for the show making Keli 2015 one of the best so far.

Other than the traditional dances like Thiruvathira, Mohiniattam and Kathakali, over 25 groups performed different forms of dance and showcased their talents in the form of singing and acting. The fashion team, ‘Glitz and Glam’ also walked the ramp portraying the theme of nature.

“It has improved from last year as many new things have been introduced, increasing the standard of the show,” said Jees,  a 2nd year student of Manipal College of Nursing.
